Spring Projects Begin at the Homestead Wildlife Preserve

Spring seems to be quickly approaching here at the Historic Shupe Homestead Wildlife Preserve, along the Beaver Creek.  Numerous projects are planned, and some have already begun.

Our fruit tree pruning and maintenance program has begun and is nearly finished.

Plans for the eradication of non-native invasive plant species, found throughout the property, are formulated and will continue this season.  Updates are forthcoming.

Treatment of trees in the Nahorn Arboretum and throughout the preserve will be underway soon.
